Our Maker,Redeemer, Defender and friend
Whose boundless love will never end
Protecting us always and from Heaven He did send
Warring Angels to watch over us and defend
Mighty in battle ,whose glorious descent
Took away death’s victory and in His ascent
Gave hope and mercy to those who repent
And believe in the mystery and give their consent
So why do we worry and why do we cry
When Jesus has made us a place in the sky
And given us the reassurance of what will happen when we die
Joyfully leaving this world as we say our goodbyes
